AN INTEGRATED APPROACH - What would happen if you stopped bowing down to a spirit outside of yourself and started looking for your spirit in all of your bodies - physical, emotional, mental, as well as spiritual? Taking this integrated approach gives your spirit a chance to flow through you to make a synergistic difference on this physical planet, as well as a personal difference in your immediate surroundings..
All too often, people separate physical, emotional and even mental cleansing from their spiritual cleansing rituals. The spirit of a person is treated as a separate entity. Spiritual books are read to learn how to feed one's spirit. Meditation and prayer are used to rise above the mundane. Even fasting is often done with the intent to cleanse the spirit..
A SENSE OF WHOLENESS - All this separating of spirit is usually done with the good intention of giving it a place of priority. Stick with me a moment and let's see if your spirit can find an even more special space in your life. Viewing life with a sense of wholeness can bring new life to every part of your being. Illness will no longer be seen as just a physical problem, and emotional problems no longer will be seen as just feeling upset. Lack in any of your bodies will simply be a red flag that the spirit has been left out..
MENTAL - So what does it look like to integrate your spirit into your mental body? First of all, your decisions will become pure and unselfish. Your boundaries will support you as part of the whole. Plus, the information that you take into your mental computer will fit who you are in your heart at that moment. The key to this mind-body integration is clearing out all ego definitions as soon as they pop up to obstruct your mind/spirit partnership..
EMOTIONAL - The emotional body is often times the biggest challenge. It wants what it wants! And that wanting is usually initiated by what made you feel good, or even bad, as a child. Those childish "wantings" have to be cleansed so that your emotional body can be in alignment with the desires of your spirit. Failing to integrate your spirit into the emotional body will not only generate unhappiness, but also cause clutter to accumulate in your physical body..
PHYSICAL - The physical body will be viewed as the sacred temple when it is integrated with your spirit. Keeping a sacred temple clean inside and out will no longer be an "ought to" but an opportunity. You will no longer just eat and exercise just to have good physical health, but to keep your temple in the best possible condition..
WHOLE BODY PROCESS - With this integrated approach to spiritual cleansing, you will begin to identify physical health problems as unclean things that got dumped into your temple from one of your bodies... Yes, you definitely need to attend to a physical problem physically, but don't forget that spiritual cleansing is a whole body process!
